TC to Celebrate Federer and Serena on Saturday, December 10th

The holiday season hits a high with a gift for tennis fans.

A celebration of Serena and Roger.

More: Federer's Plans for Fans

Tennis Channel will review the careers and impact of all-time greats Serena Williams and Roger Federer Saturday, December 10th, at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Honoring Legends: Roger & Serena will spotlight the many achievements of the unparalleled stars, who put away their racquets this year after decades of rewriting the sport’s record books.

The hourlong conversation will be held by people who know Williams and Federer well.

Caroline Wozniacki  is a former Australian Open champion, was one of Williams’ fiercest competitors on the court and remains one of her best friends. She will be joined by Hall of Famer Andy Roddick, one of Federer’s great rivals at the top of the rankings and in the final rounds of tournaments during their playing days. Former player and coach Paul Annacone will bring a unique perspective to the discussion. As someone who coached Federer to the 2012 Wimbledon title, he understands how the legendary player dealt with pressure and prepared for matches, as well as the star’s devotion to the sport itself and the tennis community.

Swiss superstar Federer officially closed the curtain on his brilliant career partnering rival Rafael Nadal in a tearful Fedal farewell match at Laver Cup last September.

The 41-year-old Serena announced she was "evolving" away from tennis prior to the 2022 US Open which was widely regarded as her farewell. However, in recent months, the four-time Olympic gold-medal champion has left the door open to a possible return.

Standing shoulder-to-shoulder at last, Roger Federer and Serena Williams capped a champions' clash with a smiling selfie in their famous showdown at the 2019 Hopman Cup.

Bringing in the New Year with a bang, the iconic champions carried a combined 43 major singles crowns onto court and gave the 14,064 fans packed inside Perth's RAC Arena and millions more watching around the world a flash point worth framing.

The first-ever meeting between the then 37-year-old superstars—who crowned each other as the true GOAT—lived up to its blockbuster billing with flashes of mixed magic.

Both 23-time Grand Slam champion Williams and 20-time Grand Slam champ Federer challenged each other at times during a fun and festive Hopman Cup mixed doubles match.

Living legends traded shots as the Swiss side of Federer and Belinda Bencic beat Williams and Frances Tiafoe leaving both Serena—and fans—wanting more.
