The post Queen’s Club ATP rankings are crucial for Wimbledon seeds, and two players got good news on Monday, as Jack Draper and Alexander Bublik will both be seeded to their liking at Wimbledon, which commences main draw play on Monday June 30th.

Draper, who was ousted in the semifinals at Queen’s by Jiri Lehecka, will return to his career-high ranking of No.4 and thus be seeded fourth at Wimbledon. That’s good news for Draper, who won’t have to face Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner ahead of the semifinals, but he still might have to face seven-time champion Novak Djokovic, who will be seeded sixth.

Also rising inside the Top 10 were Holger Rune (+1 to No.8) and Daniil Medvedev (+2 to No.9).

Bublik Back in Top 3

Also receiving – or should we say earning – good news is Bublik, who rises to No.30 in the rankings after winning his second Halle title on Sunday. Bublik, who reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon in 2023, won’t be bothering any seeded players until the third round, so it’s good news for all the seeds as well.

Bublik jumped 16 spots in this week’s rankings, and is up 46 spots since the end of Rome. He won a challenger title in Turin, then reached the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros to start his surge.

Cilic Hits Top 1

Other notable risers were Lehecka, who rises five spots to No.25 after reaching his first grass court final, and Marin Cilic, who jumps 16 to No.85 after winning the Nottingham Challenger. 36-year-old Cilic is back inside the Top 100 since August ‘23.
