Serena Williams’ family is set to grow.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion revealed that she’s pregnant with a second child on Monday, posting the following lovely words to Instagram regarding her appearance at the Met Gala in New York City.
“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”
The third, of course, being her second child.
Williams became a mother for the first time in 2017, when baby Olympia was born on September 1, 2017.
41-year-old Williams played her final match at the 2022 US Open.
Her husband Alexis Ohanian, also posted about the news.
“Mama & Papa love this parenting-thing, so we're back at it and @olympiaohanian is gonna be the best Big Sister—she's been asking & praying for this for a minute,” he wrote.
