Petra Kvitova has taken to social media to complain about “unfair” scheduling in Beijing.

The Czech champion hit out at the tour after her second-round loss to Liudmila Samsonova (6-4, 7-5) was scheduled for a 5:30 PM start when other first-round matches had yet to be played.

12th-seeded Kvitova had finished her 6-7(6) 7-5 6-3 victory over China’s Wang Xiyu after 1 AM on Sunday night in Beijing.

Samsonova was also playing on back-to-back days, but she played the first match (at 1230 PM) on Sunday.
