Barbora Krejcikova is a Grand Slam champion. The 25-year-old Czech needed only five main draw appearances at the majors to break through, and Twitter is showing the Czech some love. Here’s what we’re seeing on social media.

1. We’ll start with a legend, Billie Jean King.

2. Happy. And rightfully so.

3. Iga Swiatek says congrats – and see you tomorrow in the doubles final – to Barbora.

4. Czech mate Barbora Strycova.

5. The last woman to wins singles and doubles at Roland-Garros, Mary Pierce, in 2000.

6. Czech mate from Petra Kvitova.

7.The kiss.

8.Roland-Garros has been happy hunting ground for those who have yet to win a major since 2016.

9. Krejcikova is truly a triple threat.

10. Jana played a massive role in this title.

11. Not sure we have grasped how truly remarkable Krejcikova’s rise is yet.

12. This stat fails to mention how many times Krejcikova played qualifying at Slams and didn’t make it, which is also amazing.

13. Krejcikova is the first player to win a Roland-Garros singles title after saving a match point since Justine Henin in 2005.

14. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

15. Respect from a legend.
