Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut is one of tennis’s hottest players at the moment, and he showed no signs of slowing down in the finals of the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart on Sunday.

The Spaniard claimed his second title in a four-week span, trumping Czech Lukas Rosol in the final, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, for his 11th victory in his last 12 matches.

Bautista Agut rebounded from dropping the middle set in style, as he saved five of five break points in the decider and won 9 of 11 second-serve return points against Rosol to claim two breaks of serve and clinch the victory in one hour and forty-two minutes.

For his efforts the Spaniard will enter the top 20 on Monday for the first time in his career, capping a climb that started at No. 59 at the beginning of the season. With 32 victories in 2014, Bautista Agut has already surpassed his 2013 win total by five.

Rosol, who was bidding to become the first Czech to win the Stuttgart title since Ivan Lendl in 1985, cracked 13 aces in defeat.

The 37th edition of the Mercedes Cup will be the last on clay, with the ATP World Tour 250 tournament moving to grass courts in 2015. Earlier in the week, former Wimbledon champions John McEnroe and Michael Stich were on hand for the official opening.
