On a rain filled Saturday at Wimbledon, Roger Federer enjoyed the spotlight under the lights of Centre Court.

Wimbledon - Cornet Confounds Serena in Three Set Win

The seven-time champion faced off against World No. 35 Santiago Giraldo in his third round match. Despite Giraldo's efforts, he had few answers against Federer on the famed court.

Federer, who hit 27 winners, eased his way to a 6-3, 6-1, 6-3 win in just under 90 minutes. Here's what Federer had to say afterwards.

Next up for Federer will be veteran Tommy Robredo of Spain. Robredo found himself tangled in a five set duel with last year's semifinalist No. 15 seed Jerzy Janowicz of Poland.

Robredo, despite holding a two sets to love lead earlier, prevailed in the fifth set 6-2, 6-4, 6-7(5), 4-6, 6-3.

Kyrgios Reaches Fourth Round of Wimbledon

Rising Aussie teenager Nick Kyrgios booked his first ever spot into the fourth round of a Grand Slam.

Taking on a former junior No. 1 in Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic, Kyrgios advanced 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. Kyrgios will now face Rafael Nadal in the next round.

No. 8 seed Milos Raonic took out last year's quarterfinalist Lukasz Kubot 7-6(2), 7-6 (4), 6-2 to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon. Raonic did so on the strength of 30 aces during the contest.

“I don't think there is really a match that I would say to this point, especially in a Grand Slam, that I was able to be as dominant as I was on my serve,” Raonic said later. “That definitely makes my life a lot easier and puts pressure on him."

But the Canadian No. 1 will have to wait to learn who his next opponent will be. Italy's Simone Bolleli and Japan's Kei Nishikori were locked into a fifth set before play was suspended due to darkness. The winner of that match will play Raonic next.

Per Wimbledon tradition, no play will take place on the middle Sunday.
