April 14  

American doubles champion Jim Grabb turns 50. Grabb won two Grand Slam doubles titles  the 1989 French Open with Patrick McEnroe and the 1992 US Open with Richey Reneberg. He reached No. 1 in the world in both seasons as well.

April 16 

Conchita Martinez, the only Spanish woman to ever win Wimbledon, turns 42. Martinez defeated Martina Navratilova in the final that year, and reached the finals of two other Grand Slam singles tournaments. She reached No. 2 in the world in 1995 and won 33 titles overall.

Belarus’ Natasha Zvereva, who won 18 women’s doubles Grand Slams and two mixed doubles Slams, turns 43. With Gigi Fernandez, she won each of the four women’s Slams at least three times, including Roland Garros six times.

 April 17 

France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga turns 29. Tsonga is currently ranked No. 12 in the world and has been as high as fifth, reaching the Australian Open final in 2008. Overall, he has 10 career titles.

 April 19 

Career Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova turns 27. Sharapova has won each of the four Grand Slam titles once, and been ranked No. 1 in the world for 21 weeks in her career. She won the silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games and is well known as a fashion model and for her "Sugarpova" line of candy.
