Jiri Vesely found his clothes, and kept his groove. The 21-year-old Czech was forced to play in what looked like beach attire on Thursday due to the fact that his luggage had been lost somewhere between Rome, Vienna and Morocco, but on Friday he was back in his trademark Lotto duds during his 6-1, 6-4 win over Aljaz Bedene.

Vesely, who entered this week on a seven-match losing streak, is still one of only two ATP players aged 21 and younger in the Top 50 (Nick Kyrgios is the other).

In Saturday’s semifinals he’ll face Spain’s Daniel Gimeno-Traver, who defeated Morocco’s own Lamine Ouahab, 6-4, 6-3 (see highlights of Ouahab's big upset of Guillermo Garcia-Lopez on Thursday and more in the video above).

The other semifinal will pit Martin Klizan and Damir Dzumhur. Klizan worked his way past Nicolas Almagro, denying the Spaniard what would have been his 250th career clay-court win, while Dzumhur ousted Andreas Haider-Maurer, 6-3, 6-3, to reach his first career quarterfinal.
