Marcelo Rios ripped Novak Djokovic's aversion to the Coronavirus vaccine.
In an interview with La Tercera, former world No. 1 Rios called Djokovic's stance "stupid" and suggested the top-ranked Serbian, who was deported from Australia and has been limited to three matches for the first three months of this season, will lose his shot at GOAT because he refuses to take the jab.
Rios also suggested Djokovic avoided the vaccine "out of fear" but is continuing to avoid the jab "because he's being too arrogant."
"It's stupid, [he's] going to be a race [for GOAT] and is not going to be the best in history for a vaccine," Rios told La Tercera. "I thought the same, but I started traveling and I had to take it....
"I don't know what the reason is, but if you're playing to be the best in history and you're going to race for [refusing] vaccines, you have to be the king of the eggs. I think at first, out of fear, but now he's being too arrogant."
