Camarillo, Calif., (August 9, 2013) – The Bryan Slam already in their back pocket, the all-time winningest doubles team will next shoot for an unprecedented calendar-year Grand Slam next month at the US Open.

Soon after their New York adventure is complete in the year’s final Grand Slam, 35-year-old twins Mike and Bob Bryan will return to their hometown of Camarillo for the V-Grid Tennis Fest Featuring the Bryan Bros. and presented by Alexander Cadillac. Once again, all proceeds will benefit the Bryan Bros. Foundation.

The day of music, food, wine, and – of course – tennis will take place Friday, Sept. 27 beginning at 4:30 p.m., at the Spanish Hills Country Club and will feature special guest Andy Roddick, as well as other top names in tennis. More than 50 local wineries and restaurants will be on hand and sponsorships are still available. Once again this year, the event is being run by popular Spanish Hills Director of Tennis Dave McKinney.

Earlier this month, Bob and Mike won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title to become the first team to be champions of all four majors at the same time since the Open era began (1968).

“It’s been a really good run for us,” Mike Bryan said. “We are looking forward to the US Open and then celebrating our amazing year with our friends and family at the V-Grid Tennis Fest on Sept. 27.”

Last year’s event was attended by special guest Gavin Rossdale of the band “Bush” and more than $100,000 was raised for the Bryan Bros. Foundation.

Enjoying his first year off in retirement, Roddick said recently that he’s looking forward to joining his former US Davis Cup teammates in Camarillo. “The Bryans do so much great work with their Foundation and have always helped when I’ve called on them,” he said.

Tickets and VIP tables can be purchased through the website at www.bbtennisfest.com or by contacting Spanish Hills at (805) 388-5000, ext. 362.
