During Belinda Bencic’s epic upset of Serena Williams on Saturday, tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg was informing the Twitterverse on another “epic” occurrence.

Ryan Harrison and Thanasi Kokkinakis were jawing at each other throughout Kokkinakis’ 7-5, 3-6, 7-6(2) victory, and they nearly came to blows during the handshake.

Reportedly, Harrison was upset that Kokkinakis argued two overrules by umpire Mo Lahyani. But it also sounds like Harrison had a beef with the Aussie (and the actions of another Aussie who goes by the name Kyrgios) before the match started.

Here’s some of Rothenberg’s tweets on the match. If you want the whole story as he saw it we recommend picking through his timeline on Twitter. There are lots of videos and commentary to help put the pieces together.
