Dominic Thiem is spreading the holiday spirit with the gift of spirited training in Tenerife.

The Roland Garros finalist recently launched his own YouTube channel (a must-subscribe for Thiem fans).

Thiem takes viewers behind-the-scenes for a day in his life of off-season training in the Canary Islands.

It's a fascinating view of how off-season life can be even more demanding than a typical day of tournament play.

A tireless Thiem crams multiple runs, footwork drills, some stairway drills with hitting and on-court training.

Thiem fans will spot cameo appearances from frequent practice partner and 2014 French Open semifinalist Ernests Gulbis and coach Gunter Bresnik.

The eighth-ranked Austrian shows stable hands at net during a volley drill, unloads on down the line drives and does a straight-legged serving drill designed to emphasize shoulder rotation and wrist snap.

"I hope you really enjoy the content and enjoy our sessions more than we do," Thiem says as the sun sets on his final track work-out of the day.
