The Bucharest Open will be held on July 7, replacing the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest. Offering a prize of $250,000, the tournament will be played on red clay courts and take place one week after Wimbledon, with a start date of July 7.

The Hungarian Open had been on the calendar for 18 straight years and marked Jelena Jankovic and Sara Errani as former champions.
