Video: Behind-the-Scenes Cliff Diving

Life on the ledge was an exhilarating experience for a trio of players in Acapulco.

Grigor Dimitrov, Santiago Gonzalez and Daniela Hantuchova took time out from the Abierto Mexicano Telcel on Tuesday to visit the famed La Quebrada, the official cliff diving site in Acapulco.

Video Cliffhanger: The Real Dimitrov Dive

Hopping on a helicopter, the trio took a short flight to the spectacular cliff diving spot. The local divers did a private show just for the players with dazzling views of the cliffs and surrounding ocean.

The divers jumped from a dizzying height 35 meters.

After those graceful aerial plunges, it was the players' turn.

The players did jump in the water as well…from a much, much lower — and safer — point from the cliffs.

Notice the shoelaces of Dimitrov's shoes are untied in these phots, suggesting the Bulgarian was ready to take the plunge. Watch Dimitrov's dive here.
