Video: Federer Teaches Parrot to Say His Name



We haven’t seen much of 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer since his early exit from round three of the Australian Open, so it was nice when these advertisements from Swiss telecommunications provider Sunrise, showed up on YouTube this week.

The footage of Federer talking to the parrot is funny, but we prefer the longer ad (see below), which gives Fed fans a fast and furious 90-second glimpse into a day in the life of Roger Federer.



Apparently, Federer’s life is pretty good. Ping pong while brushing the teeth, wheatgrass shakes, lounging on the couch, skateboarding through the flat, and talking to parrots. All the while with splendid views. Could be worse, right?

If these videos don’t quite do it for you, Federer will be back on the court at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which begin on February 15th.
