Former world No. 1 Martina Hingis, fresh off winning the Australian Open mixed doubles title with Leander Paes, partnered Flavia Pennetta in the Dubai doubles draw. The pair fell to the Rodionova sisters. Hingis hung out with Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman Colm McLoughlin at the player party.
