In the aftermath of his epic five hour, 24-minute comeback conquest of Daniil Medvedev in a pulsating Australian Open final, the 35-year-old Spaniard returned home to Mallorca where he held a press conference at the Rafa Nadal Academy.

Before Nadal placed the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup trophy on display in the Rafa Nadal Museum, he shared the joy with some of his biggest fans.

Students at the Rafa Nadal Academy got an opportunity to take photos with Nadal's historic trophy, representing a men's record 21st Grand Slam championship.



After the trophy shots, the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup was placed in its permanent home on display to the public at the Rafa Nadal Museum.
