Thanasi Kokkinakis showed his strength of resolve fighting off four match points to upset No. 11 seed Ernests Gulbis in a 4 hour, 7 minute thriller. He showed his sense of  gratitude sharing the moment with an exuberant crowd in the aftermath.

The world No. 147 collapsed to the court after completing what he called "the best win of my career" as Aussie Fanatics roared in celebration. The wild card then took a wild trip through the crowd. Kokkinakis was greeted by a line of ball kids offering him a series of high-fives and excited fans eager for a signature and selfie with the teeenager.

Kokkinakis, who took a memorable celebratory victory lap around Court 3, received a rousing reception after the match. Check out Aussie fans swarming the 18-year-old form Adelaide as he works his way the crowd after his marathon victory.

Wednesday could be another memorable night for Kokkinakis. He will face fellow Aussie Sam Groth on Hisense Arena in just the second all-Aussie Grand Slam men's match since 2004.
