During his straight-sets loss to Andy Murray on Day 9, Nick Kyrgios went temporarily insane after lofting a defensive lob that had just enough steam to make it to Murray’s side of the net.

Kyrgios, whilst standing dead to rights as Murray was setting up for the smash, suddenly came to and realized that he was in grave danger.

Murray won the point and the match to advance to his fifth Australian Open semifinal. Kyrgios, meanwhile, lives to see another day.
