Jo-Wilfried Tsonga had heard enough.

Annoyed by the intrusive chanting of raucous Marcos Baghdatis supporters, Tsonga asked the chair umpire to take action, making a simple point.

"This is tennis, man. This is tennis, man," Tsonga reminds the chair umpire in a request for crowd control in the video above.

Ultimately, Tsonga took matters into his own hands and pressed the mute button on the chanting Cypriots.

In a battle of former Australian Open finalists, Tsonga beat Baghdatis in four sets to advance to the second round—and another wall of sound.

This time, the Frenchman will face the Aussie Fanatics supporting his second-round opponent, who is a hometown hero. Tsonga takes on 18-year-old Melbourne native Omar Jasika next.
