Watch the 36-year-old Swiss crack himself—and fans—up noting the age disparity between himself and 20-year-old teammate Belinda Bencic at the Hopman Cup New Year's Eve bash.

The Swiss pair were all smiles sweeping Japan, 3-0, in their Hopman Cup opener. 

Bencic and Federer take on Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Karen Khachanov next.

The reigning Australian Open champion also reminisced about how his relationship with wife Mirka bloomed in Australia.
