As we close the books on the 2022 Australian Open, let’s have a look inside the numbers of Ash Barty’s latest mind-blowing milestone. The Aussie is the first homegrown champion at Melbourne since 1978 - this and more about the 25-year-old's inspiring run.

2 With her title in Melbourne, Barty joins Serena Williams as one of two active players to have claimed major titles on all three surfaces.

24-8 Barty's lifetime record at the Australian Open. The Aussie is 57-24 lifetime time in major singles matches.

113 Number of weeks Barty has spent at No.1 as of Monday. The Aussie is just four weeks behind legend Justine Henin, who is currently seventh on the WTA’s all-time list for weeks at No.1.
