Watch: Serena Meets Kate Middleton on Snapchat


Tennis royalty met British royalty at the most appropriate place - Wimbledon.

Wimbledon - Serena Races into Final in 48 Minutes.

Serena Williams, minutes after racing to an easy win in the semifinals, posted a surprise video on her Snapchat account. It was none other than a meeting with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

“I’m in the in-crowd now,” Serena said. “I’m with royalty!”

Middleton attended the Ladies’ semifinals. Earlier in the day, she took a tour of the grounds, met with ball boys and ball girls, and met several current and former players including Sam Stosur and Ivan Lendl. She also met Serena and Venus Williams’ mother - Oracene Price.
