Becker: Novak's Not Satisfied

Novak Djokovic knelt on the lawn and chewed on the Centre Court grass after fighting off Roger Federer in an epic Wimbledon final on Sunday.

The world No.1 has a hunger for much more, says his ex-coach.

Djokovic denied two championship points in the decisive set capturing his 16th Grand Slam title to narrow the gap on 18-time major champion Rafael Nadal and 20-time Grand Slam king Federer.

It was Djokovic's fourth major title in his last five Grand Slams.

Boris Becker, Djokovic's former coach, says the Serbian won't be satisfied until he breaks Federer's Slam record.

"Novak is not quite happy yet," Becker told BBC. "He's one of the greatest of all of time but he wants to be the greatest of all time. "He should be more than proud to have achieved 16 majors. If you told him that 15 years ago he would have said 'I don't believe you' and he would have taken one or two."

Becker believes the pro-Federer, Centre Court crowd actually inspired Djokovic, who saved championship points when the second-seeded Swiss served for the title at 8-7 in the final set.

The Hall of Famer told BBC he hopes fans will "wake up" to the five-time Wimbledon winner's greatness.

"Federer is the greatest of all-time here and has the right to get that love, but on the other side you have to respect a four-time champion a little bit more," Becker said of Djokovic, who is 3-0 in Wimbledon finals vs. Federer. "I hope next year, if they played again, it would be more even.

"He came into the party that was the Roger and Rafa party and he became the party pooper. Now, after 16 majors, people have got to wake up to the greatness of Novak Djokovic."
