Second Serve

Jelena Ostapenko has had a strange week at the service stripe at Wimbledon. First she won a point by nailing Alizé Cornet with a serve. The Frenchwoman was in the wrong place at the wrong time (see video above).

Then on Wednesday in mixed doubles competition, she found a new target in her partner Robert Lindstedt. During the pair’s 2-6 7-5 6-4 victory over John Peers and Zhang Shuai, Ostapenko tagged her partner not once—but twice.

The Latvian-Swedish combo will take on Franco Skugor and Raluca Olaru in the quarter-finals.
