The Philadelphia Freedoms saw their seven-match winning streak end on Tuesday, and fell out of first place as a result.

Steve Johnson won a deciding tiebreak to propel the Orange County Breakers to a 20-19 win after Johnson and James Ward had nearly coughed up a massive advantage late in the contest. They were blanked in men’s doubles by Fabrice Martin and Adrian Mannarino, 5-0, but rebounded to secure victory just in the nick of time.

Johnson and Ward had to fight off a match point in the ensuing breaker before the American sealed the victory with a service winner that Mannarino could not handle.

Eugenie Bouchard made her season debut for the breakers and scored a win in women’s doubles with Andreja Klepac before losing to Taylor Townsend 5-4 in the singles.

The Breakers improve to 3-3 in the season and are tied with the San Diego Aviators and New York Empire for third place.

The Freedoms fall to 7-2 and are a half game behind the Springfield Lasers ahead of Wednesday's WTT action.

Vegas Knocks off Empire

In other action on Tuesday the Vegas Rollers picked up a 24-20 win over the New York Empires at Orleans Arena in Vegas.

Sam Querrey played a crucial role, winning the mixed with Harriet Dart, 5-3 over Neal Skupski and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez, and then taking the singles 5-4 over Ulises Blanch to lock up Vegas’ third win of the season against five losses.
