Alison Van Uytvanck and Greet Minnen are partners in love and tennis.
The Belgian pair, who are among the few openly gay players in tennis, squared off for the first time as opponents on the WTA Tour.

The 25-year-old Van Uytvanck defeated Minnen, 6-4, 1-6, 6-1, in Karlsruhe on Monday.
After going the distance, the couple shared this embrace and kiss at net.
Afterward Minnen retweeted this tweet from Jan Kooijman, who posted a heart emoji and advice: "now get a room."
The couple, who have been together for about three years, played doubles together reaching the Wimbledon second round.
"We have a lot of fun on the court. It's fun to play with her," Van Uytvanck said. "We try things, and that helps us to improve our game." "We know each other well, and that helps."
