Egyptian tennis player Youssef Hossam has been provisionally suspended from professional tennis by independent anti-corruption hearing officer Jane Mulcahy.
The suspension was initially imposed on May 9th, 2019 and has since been subject to a series of further submissions on behalf of the player. As a result, Hossam continues to be ineligible to compete in or attend any sanctioned event organised or recognized by the governing bodies of the sport.
The suspension relates to an investigation by the Tennis Integrity Unit into alleged breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program.
