Sofia Kenin led the Philadelphia Freedoms to a victory over the Orange County Breakers with a 5-3 victory over fellow American Jennifer Brady. Kenin, joined Kim Clijsters, the Bryan Brothers, Taylor Fritz and Jack Sock on a star-studded Monday at the Greenbrier Club in West Virginia.

“I’m just super happy I started off really well. I felt like I played well overall and she of course picked up her game, but I was able to close it out,” Kenin said. “Billie Jean King reached out to me and asked me to play for her team, so I was super excited and honored.”

Asia Muhammad teamed up for two doubles win and Mike and Bob Bryan scored a 5-1 victory over James Ward and Tennys Sandgren to clinch a 25-15 victory for Vegas.
