On the heels of his sixth Wimbledon title, Novak Djokovic has already qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. The World No.1 and 20-time major champion is the first to qualify for the event, which will move to Italy for the first time after a successful 12-year run at the O2 Arena in London.

Djokovic, a five-time champion, is scheduled to make his 14th appearance.

"I am happy to have qualified for Turin so early," said Djokovic. "Italian fans are very much into tennis so I am sure it will be a great event with a fantastic atmosphere."

Berrettini up to third, Hurkacz to eighth in Race to Turin

Reaching the Wimbledon final has put Italy’s Matteo Berrettini in a great position to make his first Nitto ATP Finals appearance, something he’d love to do on home soil. The Italian rises four spots to No.3 in the race to Turin, while Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz jumps three to No.8.

Canada’s Denis Shapovalov, who as an alternate last year, along with Berrettini, jumps from 22 to 10 in the race after reaching the Wimbledon semifinals.

Here are the current top-10 in the Race to Turin:

1. Novak Djokovic, 7,170 points
2. Stefanos Tsitsipas, 4,570 points
3. Matteo Berrettini, 3,505 points
4. Andrey Rublev, 3,250 points
5. Alexander Zverev, 3,195 points
6. Daniil Medvedev, 3,020 points
7. Rafael Nadal, 2,940 points
8. Hubert Hurkacz, 2,190 points
