When you’re 20 and trying to make a name for yourself on the ATP Tour, it’s not always great to have someone mistakenly confuse you for a MEGA pop star of the opposite sex. But you know what they say? Any press is good press, so when American Taylor Fritz was accidently referred to as Taylor Swift yesterday at the Boodles he took it in stride (well, sort of).
Swift, er, Fritz, ranked 68, will make his third Wimbledon main draw appearance this week. He has yet to win a match at SW19 and owns a 1-7 lifetime record at the majors with his only win coming at last year’s U.S. Open.
