Dominika Cibulkova isn't celebrating Serena Williams' Wimbledon seeding.
World No. 32 Cibulkova, who would have been the final seed for next week's Wimbledon, was denied a seeding spot after the All England Club seeding committee elevated the 183rd-ranked Williams to the No. 25 seed.

Seven-time Wimbledon champion Serena returns to SW19 for the first time since giving birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia, on September 1st.
In her last Wimbledon appearance, Williams defeated Angelique Kerber to capture the Rosewater Dish in 2016.
"I think it's now right what WTA did that you can have protected ranking. I think that's good," Cibulkova told the media in Eastbourne after falling to Kerber. "But I think this is a little bit different story, no, to get, I mean, seeded spot in the draw. I think it's not because she was pregnant.
"She might have been injured for one year, and it would be... so I think these are two different stories, no? I think so."
Cibulkova suggested the 23-time Grand Slam champion was given preferential treatment.
"I think if it will be a different player, not her, I think she will not get, I think she would not be seeded," Cibulkova said. "It's just because she won it many times and she's Serena Williams. So I think that's why."
The All England Club's seeding committee reserves the right to change seedings based on past grass-court results to produce a balanced draw.
