Tennis birthdays for the week of March 16-22.

March 19 - Former world No. 3 Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia turns 35. Ljubicic won 10 career titles and reached No. 3 in the world in May of 2006, the year he reached the Australian Open quarterfinals and the French Open semifinals. He won a bronze medal in men's doubles for Croatia at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. He retired in 2012.

March 20 - Current world No. 18 Sloane Stephens turns 21. Stephens, who has yet to win a WTA title, has been ranked as high as No. 11 in the world. She broke through in 2013, reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open by defeating No. 1 Serena Williams, and also reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.

March 22 - The Czech Republic's Jiri Novak, who reached the top six in both men's singles and doubles in his career, turns 39. Novak won seven titles as a singles player and reached No. 5 in the world in 2002, the same year he reached the Australian Open semifinals. He won 18 doubles titles and reached No. 6 in the world in 2001. He reached the finals of Wimbledon in 2001 and the US Open in 2002.
