Naomi Osaka walked into the Miami Open fourth round without striking a shot.

The second-seeded Osaka received a walkover into the round of 16 when Serbian qualifier Nina Stojanovic withdrew with a right thigh injury. Stojanovic was coming off a physical 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 win over 26th-seeded Yulia Putintseva in the second round.
