During Grigor Dimitrov’s 7-6(2), 3-6, 7-6(4) victory over Nick Kyrgios on Sunday at Indian Wells, the Bulgarian mixed in some Palm Springs cool with his scintillating showtime.

After winning this entertaining exchange at the net with a fast-twitch change of direction and perfectly placed backhand flick winner, Dimitrov spreads the icing on the cake liberally by flashing a grandfatherly wink at his 19-year-old foe.

As if to say: “You’re gonna far, kid, but not if you try to beat me at my own game,” in a very Frank Sinatra-ish sort of way. Kyrgios, to his credit, took it in stride.

Dimitrov will face Tommy Robredo in the third round.
