Andy Murray Wore His Wedding Ring on Shoe During Munich Final



Not only did Andy Murray win the Munich title on Monday, he won it in style, as a married man with his wedding ring tied to his shoe.


Murray told reporters before the BMW Open in Munich that he had tried wearing the ring on a necklace but that the necklace had snapped off and broken on a physio table the very first time he tried. Hence the shoelace trick. It’s nice that Murray is “wearing” the ring, but considering how nasty that crushed red brick topdressing can be, let’s hope that Murray is also spending some time cleaning the ring after his clay matches.
