Being a ballkid can be a tough job. Getting struck by stray shanks is an occupational hazard and handing sweaty towels to ornery tennis players can be a less than desirable non-perk.

Oh, but on those days when the legends of the game see to it that you’re appreciated and entertained, the picture becomes clearer. This is why it’s great to be a ballkid. Watch as Novak Djokovic takes his annual jog with the kids on Saturday morning.
