After his upset at the hands of Gastao Elias in Lyon, Juan Martin del Potro tells reporters that he’s not yet confident that he’ll be fit enough to play Roland Garros.
The Tower of Tandil is a former Roland Garros semifinalist but he has not played the event since 2012. That year he held a two sets to love lead on Roger Federer in the quarterfinals but fell to the Swiss in five.
Del Potro also held a two sets to one lead over Federer in the semifinals at Roland Garros in 2009, but Federer went on to win in five and took his only Roland Garros title that year.
