Two-time major champion Garbiñe Muguruza has signed a multi-year partnership with Evian. According to SportsProMedia.com the agreement will see Muguruza be active in the mineral water brand’s advertising campaigns and point of sale displays, while she will also participate in the company’s new product launches.



“I couldn’t be more excited about joining Evian as a global ambassador not only because I am a huge fan of their natural mineral water, but because of the incredible creativity that the brand has become famous for,” said Muguruza.

Evian already has a strong affiliation with tennis, serving as an official partner of the Wimbledon Championships since 2008. Evian’s current deal, which designates the brand as the official bottled water supplier of the tournament, runs through to 2022.

“Garbiñe is the natural choice to add to our current roster of Live Young ambassadors,” said Patricia Oliva, Evian’s vice president of global marketing. “Like Evian, she embodies style and healthy living, as well as symbolising the playfulness of our longstanding Live Young campaign. From winning at Wimbledon in 2017 to her recent success in Mexico, it has been so exciting to watch her go from strength to strength over the last twelve months.”
