Did you enjoy watching Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem in the quarterfinals at Madrid? Get ready for a rematch in Rome. Nadal and Thiem were drawn into the same quarter of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia draw on Friday.

Nadal could face Fernando Verdasco after a first-round bye, while Thiem will face the winner of the Monfils-Fognini match.

Other interesting first-round matchups include No.11-seeded Novak Djokovic vs. Alexandr Dolgopolov and Stan Wawrinka vs. Steve Johnson. Wawrinka has not played since February and has since reunited with coach Magnus Norman.

If the seeds hold the quarterfinals shape up as follows:

Nadal is a seven-time champion at the Foro Italico but has not won in Rome since 2013. Djokovic is a three- time champion and won his last title in 2015. Alexander Zverev is the defending champion.

Either Nadal or Djokovic won the title in Rome from 2005 to 2015. Andy Murray triumphed in 2016.
