Armed with a remote, Novak Djokovic is doing some serious scouting on his days off in Paris.

When the world No. 1 isn't playing Roland Garros, he's watching 11-time champion Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, Juan Martin del Potro and other potential rivals assessing their form during the French fortnight.

Watch: Djokovic's Unbelievable Major Mission

"We all watch each other," Djokovic told ex-coach Boris Becker in a Eurosport interview. "It's normal, especially when we're playing matches on different days, obviously. So I get a glimpse. There's TVs everywhere in your home and practice facility, gym, locker room. So when the main guys are playing, everybody's watching in the locker room."

Bidding to win his second Roland Garros title and complete his second Novak Slam to become the first man in Open Era history to hold all four major titles simultaneously twice, Djokovic said he follows his rivals closely.

"I watch (Rafa), I watch Roger, Dominic, Zverev, del Potro, all the guys," Djokovic said. "I follow them closely, but the main focus is still on my game. I've had success against all these guys on all different tournaments and I know what it takes to go far in this tournament."
