Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal could face heavy hitters in their Abu Dhabi openers next month.
The draw for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship was conducted today and presents some intriguing opening-matches for the world's top two.

World No. 1 Djokovic will face the winner of the Dominic Thiem vs. Karen Khachanov in his first match.
Reigning Roland Garros champion Nadal has a first-round bye like Djokovic and will take on either Wimbledon finalist Kevin Anderson or Australian Open semifinalist Hyeon Chung in his first match.
It will be Nadal's first match since he retired from the US Open semifinals vs. Juan Martin del Potro in September.
Nadal, who underwent ankle surgery earlier this month, has said he's on schedule for recovery and should start the season on time.
The six-man Mubadala World Tennis Championship is set for December 27-29th.
