Can 2015 possibly get any better for Novak Djokovic? He’s 73-5, including 27-1 at the majors and 34-1 at Masters 1000 events, and he enters Paris on a 17-match winning streak.

Apparently, yes, things can get better.

On Monday the ATP announced the Serb has passed John McEnroe and moved into 5th place on the ATP’s all-time list for week’s at No. 1.

Djokovic currently holds a gaping 7,535-point lead over No. 2 Roger Federer.

In other Ranking news, Rafael Nadal moved back to No. 6 with his final effort in Basel, while Roger Federer jumped past Andy Murray and into the No. 2 slot after his Basel title.

Americans Jack Sock (25) and Steve Johnson (31) reached career-high rankings, along with Portugal’s Joao Sousa (34).

Djokovic will need nearly two full years to jump up the ATP’s weeks at No. 1 list again. He’s currently 97 spots behind Jimmy Connors.
