Video: Kvitova Delivers on Promise, Pours Safarova a Beer

Remember back in Singapore when Petra Kvitova made a promise to Lucie Safarova after her Czech mate’s big win helped ensure Kvitova’s qualification for the semifinals at the WTA Finals?

Well, Kvitova kept her promise. The two took a break from preparing for the Fed Cup final this weekend to share a cold one (see video at top of page). What did you think of Petra’s pour? We couldn’t help notice that Kvitova worked the tap with her left hand like a true southpaw. Impressive stuff.

The Czech Republic will close the women’s tennis season over the weekend when the meat Team Russia in the Fed Cup final. Stay tuned for our preview later in the week.
