Rankings Report: Pavlyuchenkova's Premier Triumph

On the back of her second WTA Premier title of the year, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is also a winner in the WTA rankings this week. The Russian became the first woman to win the Kremlin Cup in Moscow since Elena Dementieva in 2007, defeating Irina-Camelia Begu in three sets in the final. With the win, Pavlyuchenkova moves up five spots in the rankings to No. 25.

Begu's rankings jump is nothing to sneeze at either; the Romanian moves up for No. 61 to No. 42. While it was a week of surprise packages in Moscow, there was perhaps none bigger than Katerina Siniakova. The Czech teenager qualified for the main draw and upset Elena VesninaKristina Mladenovic and Camila Giorgi to reach the semifinals, where she fell to Begu. As a result, Siniakova makes her top 100 debut as she moves up a whopping 42 spots from No. 128 to No. 86.

Also moving up in the world of the WTA rankings is Germany's Annika Beck. Beck claimed the first WTA title of her career in Luxembourg, beating Barbora Zahlavova Strycova and going one better than her runner-up finish from a year ago. With the win, Beck moves up six spots to No. 54.

In a less active week, rankings-wise, on the men's side, the only movement in the top 10 sees Stockholm champion Tomas Berdych rise one spot to No. 6, while Vienna champion Andy Murray does the same and moves to No. 10. Bernard Tomic and Thomaz Bellucci make double-digit jumps following strong showings last week. Tomic, a semifinalist in Stockholm, moves up 20 places to No. 56, while Bellucci, a quarterfinalist in Vienna, moves up 10 spots to No. 58.

The most notable men's mover of the week remains Viktor Troicki, as the Serbian continues his return following suspension. Troicki qualified and reached the semifinals in Vienna last week before losing to Murray, and moves up 21 places to No. 106.
