Second Serve

Even Andy Murray himself is probably unsure how to describe a shot he was forced to play in his second round match at the China Open in Beijing.

Already comfortably ahead by a set and a break against Uruguay's Pablo Cuevas, the Scot prepared to hit what looked like a routine overhead. But the ball clipped the net taking an awkward bounce.

That caused Murray to try an even more awkward shot that ended up losing him the point. The crowd loved it though Murray himself looked a bit embarrassed.

Murray didn't have to worry about it too long. He went on to win with ease 6-2, 6-2 and set up a quarterfinal meeting with US Open champion Marin Cilic.
