Radek Stepanek said goodbye to tennis in style this week at the O2 Arena in Prague. One of the most charismatic and talented players of his generation, Stepanek was a former World No.8 in singles and a two-time doubles Grand Slam champion and Olympic Bronze medalist in mixed doubles.

He was also a key part of the Czech juggernaut in Davis Cup, helping the team win back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

He was celebrated in front of a rowdy packed house this week in Prague, and Novak Djokovic gave an emotional tribute speech to his good friend, that moved many to tears.

The event was also attended by Andre Agassi, Leander Paes, Tommy Haas, wife Nicole Vaidisova, Tomas Berdych and Marian Vajda.

The pair played a one-set exhibition for the crowd in Prague, with Stepanek winning in a tiebreaker. Come for the tennis, stay for the hug!
