Greece is the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Greek stars Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas aim to elevate Greek tennis to the podium in the next Olympics.

The Greek pair, who played together at Hopman Cup last January, are intent on reprising their partnership for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.



"I think it's something that we both have really spoke about it since we first played at the Hopman Cup this year," Sakkari told the media in Zhuhai. "I think we're a pretty good team and we have high hopes for the Olympics.

"Hopefully it's going to happen. If we have a high ranking by the Olympics it's going to happen for sure."
