Watch: Nadal's Around-the-Net-Post Brings Ashe to its Feet


Rafael Nadal wowed the packed house in Arthur Ashe Stadium with ferocious tennis all night. Then, just when he had all but locked up his four-set win over Marin Cilic, he sent them home with a ridiculously good hot shot.

The Spaniard clocked out with a 6-3 3-6 6-1 6-2 on Monday in New York, and he’ll next face Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinals.

His around-the-post hot shot was reminiscent of another US Open beauty. See below:
